Communication Model

An example of the communication model in progress comes in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean". In the second movie, "Dead Man's Chest", the crew on the ship plays a game. In this game, they are senders and receivers. They send a message in order to try to convince the other players that they have a certain number if dice, while the receivers have to decode the message and determine if they are lying or telling the truth.
The one element of the communication model process that is really shown within this example, is the message the way the receivers decode the message. The receivers have to determine if the sender is sending a message that is true. This also means that the sender has to send certain signs and signals to try and persuade the other players that he is being serious so that he does not lose.
