Marcellus Shale

There is currently a group, which is located in State College, that has started a protest against the Marcellus Shale. The group is campaigning for the State College Environmental Bill of Rights and Natural Gas Drilling Ban. In order to get this act passed, they have held fundraisers to get people to sign petitions to be sent to the government. The group has been trying to educate the local community about the effects the drilling has on the communities as well.
