An Inconvenient Truth

This example that I chose, Al Gore’s speech, expresses public advocacy. Al Gore is trying to inform and convince the audience about global warming and the effects of global warming. Al Gore uses evidence to convince the audience to try to motivate them to do everything they can to stop global warming. He uses examples like water shortages and glaciers that are melting to give specific evidence to show that global warming is actually happening. He shows the difference between glaciers from twenty years ago to the melting ones today. As you watch this video, one can tell that Al Gore is an expert and he does a wonderful job at advocating global warming and convincing the public to stop it.
